Greetings, hope you are well and all things are great!

What’s been happening these few months in the world of Pierrot’s? A lot.  So, let’s jump straight into it. 

As another year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on everything that has happened. This year has been full of exciting events, educational sessions, and system relaunches:

• We gave our team and their families a special 2022 Christmas present in February – a day at Rottnest Island.
• We celebrated “Hairstylist Appreciation Day” with a belly dancer and enjoyed a 15-minute head, neck, and shoulder massage.
• Our big event of the year was the 40/10 Runway Show to celebrate 10 years on 2nd Ave and 40 years since the launch of Pierrots. 
• We attended multiple events, including the Prive Fashion Platform, Aveda’s inaugural retreat, and I attended the annual Australian Hair Council Education Forum and the Hair Festival.
•  We also participated in a full-day First Aid Course held in our salon and l learnt a lot.
• Matt and Marisa styled the hair for Fashions on the Field at Optus Stadium for Melbourne Cup Day.
• Launched a national platform to provide hairdressers with access to all of the company’s education. 
• In the salon, we added a private lash bar and made some decorative upgrades. Everything looks fantastic, with just a couple of more things to do after Christmas.
• Lastly, our apprentice’s progress was showcased at our end-of-year Soiree.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who joined us for an amazing Soiree, celebrating the past year’s work of our apprentices and senior stylists. 

With only a couple of months of planning, the Pierrot’s artistic team achieved a successful event, held at Doubletree Northbridge. It was an exclusive night to remember for the invited past and present employees, VIP guests, family, and friends. They were treated to a showcase of creative and fantastic hair styling, makeup, and gorgeous garments by renowned Australian designers, Karen Elizabeth Young, Jonte’ Designs and House of Wings. 

It’s no secret that we couldn’t have made this event possible without the help of the community businesses that participated and the Pierrot’s House models who assisted us in bringing this celebration to reality.
