Monday the 1st of May saw the announcement of the finalists in the 2017 Hair Expo awards.
Pierrot’s Hair Studios were announced finalists for Salon Business of the Year Australia Wide, and Amy Motteram Stylist from Mount Lawley was announced finalist for Apprentice of the Year 2017 with an amazing photographic collection.
There was over 235 entries for 14 Creative Categories and 4 Business sections, there was a 40% increase in entrants from 2016.
Julia Erben, Event Director for Hair Expo Australia, said “The Schwarzkopf Professional Hair Expo Awards represent exactly this; they are the complete picture of what exceptional hairdressing is, and we couldn’t be more proud to be celebrating our 2017 finalists this evening!”
The finalists were judged by a panel of 12 international and 12 local judges.
The winners will be announced at the Hair Expo Awards Gala in Sydney on June 12th.
