Covid Policies

Pierrot’s COVID Policies and Procedures.

We ask that you please read the following information before your next visit, and help us to keep you, our team, and our other guests safe.

Guest Checklist Prior to Appointment

To keep our workplace safe, please read and apply this checklist before coming to our salon.

  • Are you well today?
  • Do you have a fever, sore throat, headache, or flu like symptoms?
  • Have you been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID 19?
  • Have you been to any of the published exposure sites?

If you answer ‘NO’ to all, we look forward to seeing you. If you answer YES to any of the above, please postpone and we won’t charge you a cancellation fee.

Arrival for your appointment

  • Please wear masks
  • Check in with QR code or sign in forms
  • Hand sanitise

General Guidelines

  • Please come alone. Parents may only bring a child if the child is having a hair service, as we need to have least possible number of guests in the salon.
  • We will continue to serve refreshments, but ask that you keep this to a minimum, so that you are able to wear your mask for most of time.
  • We have spare disposable masks to use when having colours.
  • All our cups are washed in the dishwasher.
  • We will not be offering magazines, but you are welcome to bring your own.
  • We request that you only use a credit card, not cash, for payment.
  • Your Coordinator or our Receptionist can settle your account and re-book you at the station, so you are not standing with others at reception.

What we are doing to keep you safe

  • All of the Pierrot’s team is double-vaccinated.
  • We hand-sanitise, and sterilise our equipment after every use (allowing extra time between each guest to ensure this is done).
  • We are using single use cleaning cloths (not disposable), which will be laundered after every use.
  • We use 100% professional strength disinfectant.
  • We use single-use gowns & towels.
  • Bathroom key is disinfected after every use, and sanitised.
  • We have Rapid antigen tests for our team, and these will be used as required.
  • We have InovaAir Airclean DE20 air purifier with the highest level of air purification on order.
  • We will be using Protech KN95 protective masks (due in mid Feb).
  • We have ordered bollards and ropes, so that no one can walk in without checking in first (e.g someone coming to only purchase products or to enquire, or delivery people etc).
  • We are not reintroducing the taking of guest temperatures as we have been informed that this practice is not a reliable guide to possible infection.
